Course Description

This course guides students through completion of a three-chapter proposal. Though the dissertation is an evergreen document until defense, this course supports students in ensuring alignment of the elements of an APA style Chapters 1, 2, & 3, namely the problem of practice, theoretical & conceptual frameworks, research questions, literature review, research design/method, data collection, and data analysis approach. Through one-on-one instruction and peer support, the student constructs Chapters 1, 2, & 3, submits this three-chapter proposal for required approval through a formal program review process, and upon approval, submits an IRB application to the Stockton Institutional Review Board.
