Course Description
Formerly titled Introduction to Postcolonial Literature. 1900-Present Course, Ethnic/Postcolonial Literature Course. A study of global fiction, poetry, drama and autobiography in nation, and English. We will consider recurrent themes and issues such as identity, power, migration, race, gender, nation and representation. We will also examine the specific social, cultural and historical contexts from which these literature emerge.
