Course Description
Pre-1700 Course and British Literature Course. Careful consideration of several of William Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. The goal of this course includes competent understanding of Shakespeare's art including placement of that art within historical and current social and cultural contexts. Students will work to develop sophisticated reading skills, both aesthetic and analytical, and to enhance their writing skills.
