Course Description
British Literature Course. Gender/Sexuality Course. We will read novels by late-18th through late 20th century writers, paying particular attention to specific concerns shared and developed by the women selected. We will also examine the complex relationship women writers have with their male counterparts and consider whether or not women's fiction and/or poetry departs from or reflects the dominant culture of the periods under review.
