ADVANCED CONTEMPORARY AMERICAN POETRY
Course Description
In this course, we'll look at some of the foundational poets of American poetry: Langston Hughes, Gertrude Stein, William Carlos Williams, and Robert Frost. Along the way we will explore ideas of what American Literature is, think about our canon, and read and critically write about living American poets who find their literary roots in these predecessors.
