Course Description
Numerical algorithms and techniques for solving mathematical problems. Topics include root finding, approximation of functions, differentiation and integration, differential equations, linear systems, iterative techniques for matrix algebra, approximation theory and nonlinear systems of equations. Analysis of errors involved in the various methods.
