Course Description

This course will build upon the beginning knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competencies achieved in previous courses. Students will apply Roy’s Model as the framework for designing and implementing culturally sensitive, patient centered, developmentally appropriate care for the client and family across the four spheres of care. The nursing process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, quality and safety, ethics, interprofessional collaboration, and healthcare technology are implemented for the compassionate care of neonates, infants, pregnant women and families.
