Course Description

This course will build upon the developing knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competencies achieved in previous courses. Students will apply Roy’s Model in designing and implementing culturally sensitive, patient centered, developmentally appropriate care for the pediatric client and family across the four spheres of care. The nursing process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, quality and safety, ethics, interprofessional collaboration, healthcare technology, palliative and end of life care, are implemented for the compassionate care of neonates, children, adolescents, and emerging adults.
