Course Description
This course explores the mechanisms of disease and alterations in body defenses of all body systems. General physiological and pathophysiological principles that govern inflammation, cellular/tissue repair, genetics, immunity, and neoplasia will be discussed. Genetic and environmental impact on disease as well as their influences on health and illness will be explored.
