Course Description

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all course work including successful completion of all pre-required fieldwork assignments; and recommendation of the Program. Level II fieldwork consists of two 12-week, full-time clinical experiences in different settings. The goal of Level II fieldwork is to develop competent, entry-level, generalist occupational therapists. The intent of fieldwork at this level is to provide the broadest exposure to the field with experiences across the lifespan and in a variety of settings or treatment models. For this reason, students are assigned to 2 different level II fieldwork placements in occupational therapy settings that may be medical, school based or community-based working with differing client populations.
