Course Description
Examination of major themes and writers in pragmatism. We will study both classic and contemporary thinkers including C.S. Pierce, William James, Oliver Wendall Holmes Jr., John Dewey, Alan Locke, Hillary Putnam, W. Quine, Richard Posner, and Richard Rorty.
