Course Description
This course will examine an unavoidable only one-time life event, death. While death is certain to every living being, accepting the meaning of death can be different. Contemplating death's meaning will open to various meaningful topics such as the idea of self, happiness, and so on. By introducing various Asian religious philosophical traditions, this course will introduce students to meditate on, examine, and discuss the notion of death and thereby find the meaning of life.
