KARL MARX: HIS PHILOSOPHY, ECONOMICS AND RELEVANCE
Course Description
Prerequisite: One previous course in PHIL or ECON with a grade of C or better or Permission of Instructor required. Cross-listed ECON 3115. This course will involve an in-depth examination of Karl Marx's critique of capitalism -- situated through an examination of his philosophical and political-economic influences, examined through a close reading of Capital volume I, brought into conversation with contemporary problems and issues in order to determine relevance.
