Course Description

This introductory-level course is designed to provide an in-depth introduction to the workings of State and Local government(s) in the U.S. Emphasis will be placed upon gaining a practical understanding of the role, organization, operations, and importance of State government in the formulation and administration of public policy within the federal system of government. An analysis of state and local governments in the U.S., including New Jersey, will provide a frame of reference for this course.
