Course Description

This Special Topics course considers the policies and procedures that govern voting and voter registration in the United States. The class focuses on relevant laws and court cases at the state and federal level concerning voting process and voting rights, with close attention given to voting regulations in New Jersey. Additionally, the class will introduce students to the political science scholarship on voter mobilization and the effects of voting laws on turnout.
