Course Description
Not open to students who have completed GEN 2306. The course will introduce students to a broad range of health issues that are unique to women from a public health perspective. It will emphasize health, wellness, consumerism, and advocacy throughout the lifecycle. The physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and ethical aspects of each health topic will be presented. Factors that influence today's publichealth .and health care delivery systems and their impact on the health and well being of women will be discussed throughout the course.
