Course Description
Not open to students who have completed GSS 1140. Historical bias and discrimination in health care have given rise to health disparities for populations society has disadvantaged. Racial, ethnic, cultural, environmental, social, economic, and other factors that have resulted in health disparities are explored. Solutions to eradicate health disparities and establish health equity, diversity, and inclusion are addressed.
