Prerequisite: One Sociology courseWilliam Edward Burghardt Du Bois (1868-1963) was an American civil rights activist, leader, Pan-Africanist, sociologist, educator, historian, writer, editor, poet, and scholar. Therefore, this course analyzes his contributions to the disciplines of sociology and African studies as well as the struggle for social justice.
