Course Description

Prerequisite: Open to SOWK majors only or non-majors with permission of department. This second of two courses in Human Behavior aims to enhance students' comprehension of the conceptual linkages between theories of human behavior, issues of diversity, and practice interventions grounded in the knowledge-base drawn from the multidimensional perspective. The course expands on the interconnection of how macro systems, principally communities, organizations, and groups, affect human behavior within the person-in-environment.
