Course Description

May be repeated once for credit when topics vary. A lab course to practice the craft of musical theatre performance, with a focus on auditions and solo performance. Students will learn to establish high stakes for every scene and identify key moments of change. Students will work with a director and musical director/piano accompanist to find performance materials, identify their own individual needs and interests, as well as learn audition room essentials for actors.
