Course Description

An introduction to medical terminology with an emphasis on learning word roots, suffixes, and prefixes as they pertain to the human body. Medical terms will be introduced while exploring the anatomy and physiology of body systems, along with health and disease. Not open to students with credit for HLTH 1241 or HLTH 3421.
