Course Description
Study of trees: taxonomy, morphology, anatomy, physiology, ecology, and human uses. Emphasizes species identification and nomenclature in the field (outdoors). The skills of tree identification are honed during weekly field and indoor exercises. This course meets the plant requirements for BIOL major.
