Course Description
This course provides students an opportunity to understand the social history of the ancient Mediterrean world through an exploration of the production, preparation, and consumption of food and drink, as well as representations of them in word and image. We shall focus our attention on ancient Greece and Rome from the 8th century BCE through the 5th century
