Course Description
Formerly ARTV 2125. Not open to those with credit for ARTV 2125. This course will emphasize the use of design skills and information structure in the creation of Web based documents. The primary application used during the semester will be Dreamweaver. In addition to Dreamweaver, students will make use of other supplementary web applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator. The primary goal of the course is to help students integrate the necessary skills for effective web page creation from a programmatic and graphic perspective. Topics covered include optimizing web graphics, page layout within the limits of browser capabilities, cross platform issues, compatibility, and JavaScript.
