PROFICIENCY METHODOLOGY IN SPANISH
Course Description
Permission of Instructor required. This course is for students who need to improve oral and written proficiency in Spanish at the intermediate high to the advanced low level in order to meet the standards for the Oral Proficiency Interview, a new requirement for language educators in New Jersey. The course will emphasize teaching and learning Spanish for various degrees of control and linguistic performance. Spanish language instruction will target primarily efficient and functional uses of communication by taking into account full, partial and conceptual controls at varying K-16 levels of instruction.
