Course Description
The course examines French civilization from pre-history to modern France. Our method is to establish connections between political and social developments, and artistic and literary achievements. Authentic readings draw from diverse historical and modern sources and are selected to provide an understanding of the main currents of the evolution of French culture. The course is taught in French.
