Course Description

This course explores the fundamental role of geology in society and the physical environment. The course aims to establish a broad foundation of geologic first principles in order to investigate concepts relating to natural hazards such as flooding, landslides, earthquakes, and volcanoes, as well as the stewardship of natural resources and current global environmental problems.
