Program Introduction
The Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and Leadership (MBA-HAL) is an interdisciplinary program that supports the interdisciplinary tenet of Stockton University’s mission. Although the program is housed in the school of business, the MBA-HAL is jointly staffed and led by faculty from both the school of business and the health science program. These two programs integrate to develop a degree program that meshes the sciences with management and leadership, to provide a gateway for students desiring to enter leadership and management positions within the field of healthcare.
The program provides students with increased opportunities to pursue professional education in healthcare administration and leadership beyond the current undergraduate curriculum. Through advanced graduate studies, the program supports the lifelong learning and professional education tenets of Stockton University’s mission.
A Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and Leadership (MBA- HAL) is an AACSB accredited degree program aimed at providing graduates with the competencies necessary to excel in a variety of health care-focused businesses, such as hospitals, medical practices, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, medical device companies, digital health, and in entrepreneurship.
