• GEOL 2101/05 Physical Geology w/lab OR GEOL 2110/15 (5 credits)

• GEOL 2102/06 Historical Geology w/lab (5 credits)

Choose ONE 3000-4000 Level GEOL course OR any of the following (4 credits):

• ENVL 3432 Soil Science

• ENVL 3434 Watershed Hydrology

• ENVL 3435 Groundwater Hydrology

• ENVL 3531 Soil Chemistry

• MARS 3305 Coastal Processes

• GEOL/BIOL 3241 Paleobiology

• BIOL 3242 Vertebrate Paleontology

Choose at least 8 credits from the following:

• GEOL 3211 Mineralogy (4 credits)

• GEOL 3212 Petrology (4 credits)

• GEOL 3221 Field Geology (4 credits)

• GEOL 3222 Structural Geology (4 credits)

• GEOL 3231 Sedimentology & Stratigraphy (4 credits)

All courses must be selected in consultation with a geology faculty member and must be approved in advance.
